You also have to pay attention to the influence of light and temperature, as the quality and effectiveness of CBD and weed can be affected. If the humidity in a room is too high, this can lead to mold formation. In this case, you should dispose of your flowers.

- Your weeds should be stored in cool, dark places out of direct sunlight. This is the type of environment that a HUMIDOR simulates.

Avoid excessive heat
We recommend a temperature between 16 - 20 °C. It is best to choose a place with a humidity between 54 - 63%. Air this room regularly and dry your laundry in another one. - Use airtight and well-sealed containers, ideally the contents should not come into contact with oxygen. If possible, choose storage containers made of glass or stainless steel to keep the flavor profile of the buds intact - wooden containers will take on the taste of the wood over time, which can be unpleasant.
- You shouldn't store CBD or cannabis in the fridge, and definitely not in the freezer. Storing it this way will cause the grass to absorb moisture, and you've done yourself no favors. This also applies to many other plant products, such as ground (roasted) coffee and coffee beans.
- We advise against storing in plastic. Plastic has many negative effects on the trichomes of cannabis. Trichomes also protect the leaf surface from excessive evaporation and thus prevent the flowers from drying out. You have certainly seen trichomes before - these are the small hairs on the plant. They produce sticky resin that forms in small drops on the hairs.
